You can have all the same tooth pitch or any mixture that you desire.

3, 4, 6 & 10tpi tend to be used for cutting wood, plastic or non ferrous metals.

14 & 18tpi are great general purpose metal cutting tooth pitches and 24tpi for thin sheet metal or thin tubed material.
